strange shading in viewport??

From time to time when I model, groups of polygons will suddenly go black or very darkly shaded.

This usually happen when i perform loop slice.

Any idea why?

It is getting worst :frowning:

I suspect there is something to do with shading angle, so I went into the shader tab and play around with the setting of the base material. But nothing changed.

I found the solution :slight_smile:

If anyone comes across this problem.

Look under List tab/Other Maps, and delete any vertex map under it.

It fixed the problem like magic :slight_smile:

oh yeah, that’s a porblem with imported files coz they mostly comes with VertexNormal Maps.
