Strange render

I was wondering if anyone might know why the leaves on my trees are coming out almost black. I’m rendering inside of maya using maya 2010 and vue xstream 9.5. I’ve got a classic day atmosphere modified and fg enabled. Everything looks fine including the bark on the trees but the leaves are rendering almost black. I’ve tried to lighten the material and still super dark. Early renders were looking fine and had proper illumination so I haven’t been able to figure out what could be causing this. Any ideas would be great. Thanks
