Strange lofting when using multiple shapes

Hi guys

I’m a 3ds max user, trying to make Roman amphitheater for a scene which should be a little longer in the middle than at the sides. From that basis I stated that lofting with multiple shapes should be the best method, so I rigged two splines wth only straight corners and eually many vertices and lofted them round a semicircular path. Though I get the strangest result although cool (Attached).

Does anyone of you have any idea why this is happening and/or an idea how to solve it.

This may be a silly question, but are you sure you’re selecting all the vertices correctly before you loft them?

Indeed I am, did the operands several times over. Though I solved it somehow, the error seemed to occur when I made the two operands individually, when I later made one and copied it to make the other it went fine. So I suppose vertice-numbers or something might have played in on the error.

All fine now, thanks anyway.
