This is the very first sketch of my idea for Strange Behavior. I thought some fruit revolting against the hand that usually puts them in the blender would be fun. Its not as dynamic or striking a setup as I intend, but I will start painting the final version right over this and make adjustments as I go.

Any suggestions on layout and ideas for the background are welcome.

Made some alterations to the layout, and detailed in the characters a bit more. You’ll notice I replaced the apple on top with a small grape. I felt it was a nice way to better balance the l-frame style layout I was using and maintain the same color balance by using another green character (though no one but me really sees the color in this yet). Anyway, this step is more out of necessity of the contest than my actual process. I don’t normally make changes in line art form, I just go straight to painting (unless im drawing/inking and not painting).
