I love the mom robot from the 3/4 view . . . her proportions look great and the baby is cute  . . . I agree the mom needs some to be worked on a little . . . maybe being able to see her brain is taking her attractiveness down . . .can’t wait to see the next revision

Hi people, a little update of my progress. I made a little test for the pose, atmosphere and colors of the momrobot. I am pretty happy with the mood, but the design of the momrobot is going to be totally different. I want a more stylised look for the image, so im going to simplify the design a step further.Mmm, not sure if im going to make a portret of the image and only focus on the mom and babyrobot. Maybe i make it more of a bigger scene and add more devices and characthers. Maybe i add some doctors and some technical hardware to give it more of a factory feel. Ah well, let just see where this is going. Cheers people

hey man, this is a fresh approach - a departure from all the lighter things i’ve seen around. The colour choice is great - melancholic and mysterious…and it does touch on strange behaviouir in the natural creation of an artificial machine. Although I have to say the babybot , I feel, should be a little more prominent…more foetus like (maybe a foetus robot curled up instead of a chest - and the robot can grow naturally like a human)? anyhow, keep up the great work!!

Very nice sketch. I love the glowing womb effect. I hope you retain that in the final. Funny, I actually thought of the very same idea for an image. I hope to see more. Good luck.

very strange and cool!

Hi people thanx for all your comments and crits on my entry. Robots without human organs who reproduce their own children seemed even stranger to me! So i decided to skip out the ‘real brains’ idea.

This sketch represents the whole composition. I just tried to keep things very basic so the composition works better. The big halve mooned shapes on the left is a big robot arm that enhances the compisition and points to my main subject, the robotbaby.

Yes i know, i still have to pop that little guy in! The figures below are two doctor/meachanics who obsereve the baby. I want to create a environment with a mysterious atmosphere were new life is created.
