this is a first concept drawings. well i want to keep it pretty simple. the fish in this lake want to be left alone, so like any other reasonable creature…they got some dynamite, removed the cork (is this the right word?) and went down to live a better life. i want to add more fisher men. and more details to the lake itself (water, mud, some garbage) and off course add style and design to all of the elements. I’m still not sure i want to do it in 3d, it depends on how fast I’ll progress.

thanks infoarq, I’m still trying out some new compositions and maybe a different approach. i think I’ll stay with the fish attacking or acting weird but maybe at a more dramatic angle. i’ll make some sketches later today.

i’m trying out a new concept, this one is a bit more simplified version of the first idea. i want to add some more character to the fish, like maybe make them wait in line with there personal belongings like they are moving to a new place (maybe funny stuff like suitcases and maybe a fish with a guitar case, and some of them to have hats and stuff like that). i want the top of the frame (the outside of the water) to have tons of fishing rods with hooks.
please any suggestions are welcome

I’m trying something completely different here. this idea is from a sketch i made 2 years ago. this is only a very fast sketch but the main idea is that theres a little “innocent” girl in the foreground that is presented in a dark light and a dramatic atmosphere. she is holding a cigarette and looking at the playground in the image’s background. in the playground there is a big guy thats dressed as a robber (Black cloths, tatoos) and he is having fun on the seesaw. i though of maybe adding a few big guys playing in the playground, they should look stupid and childish.
I’ll try to develop this idea, i find it pretty funny, maybe I’ll post the old flash animation from 2 years ago.
