Hello everybody
Long time no see. I had to flunk out of the last challenge due to lack of time and having not read the book. But I am rearing to go this time.
Strange behaviour? Hmmmm
I thought it had to be some animal doing something out of character.
Pigs might fly? The name Piggles jumped into my mind.
This little guy isn’t so confident his plan will work.
Maybe he should rethink.

Hi, Dale, good to see you back here again! I like the idea of a piggy flying - reminds me of some tracks from Pink Floyd’s album ‘Animals’ (‘Pigs on the Wing’) only funnier. Right now it’s not quite clear whether he’s trying to fly to get away from the dynamite or whether he’s trying to use it to fly. If you go with this, whan about a context in the background, or a plan written on a piece of paper in diagram form, showing a boom and dotten lines showing his planned trajectory. But then. there are so many different ways you could explore the same theme: airplanes, catapults, wooden daVinci-wings, balloons… good luck with it!

I like the overall concept.

What if he had a cohort that was pushing him along this path “guaranteeing his success” Maybe a wolf friend in a lab coat or someone that looks like he has authority.

I like the blueprint idea . . . maybe if the blueprint showed it was from a company that stands to gain from his death . . . i.e Wile E Coyote. Good Luck!

Great ideas, thanks. Wolf sounds good. Plans sound good. I was thinking about having a group of pigs. A director, scientist, groupies, piglets, etc. As if it is a special occasion. “The first pig to fly” type thing.
Anyway, I am sure it will all evolve nicely.

yeah, I was thinking of having a few visual puns related to pigs:
pearl necklace - casting pearls before swine
in a bag - pig in a poke
piggles - biggles
silk purse - can’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear
straw, sticks, bricks - 3 little pigs
hairy chin - 3 little pigs
a rake - pigsy from monkey magic
Four legs good, two legs bad / comrades - animal farm
I welcome any other suggestions :cool:

Very funny and strange concept. Dream of flying - who doesn’t understand that? Even pigs have dreams.

Anyway, I like the concepts, perfectly cute, but with that quirky dark humor hinting in the background.

Cant wait to see soem color! Are you doing this 2D or 3D? Im assuming 2d, but just out of curiosity, because I can see it working really well either way…

Going on the military/lab experiement theme . . . the pig could have a name label naming him guinea like on a military uniform or on dog tags. . . giving it a subtle humor . . . just extending on previous thoughts

I liked Michael and Lindsey’s ideas. Here is the wolf explaining his cunning plan. I’m not sure how intelligent it really is though.

This pig is really funny. I would find this also funny if he was currently flying (in a way, falling) instead of having the hope tofly with the tnt (even the idea is interesting). It would let you more interesting wor in term of environment too.

My wife was cleaning my desk and somehow managed to throw away my wacom stylus. :shrug:
I ordered a new one but it will take 1 month to come. :cry:
Oh well. Can’t get used to mouse again. Arg!
