Hello gang, just throwing ideas in the pot. Nothing “solid” yet. Here’s a concept on how much Pinocchio wanted to be a real boy.

I do think the pinocchio one is more funny then the robot one but the robot has potential as well

Roger the guy from the tall eucaliptus fructiferous. I heard his having some sexual issues… I heard he just found out he only has one of his organs. Ever since then he’s not been the same. Shame, handsome guy…

Even snails have their bad days.

I think I’m going to throw a few more in and then make a choice. The robots one is the one I like the least.

i like the 2nd concept more than all the others… and the bat one isn’t too bad either… keep it up

ravenslayer, icedeyes, bechira, Russel-Nash, thanks for the much needed feedback.

So far the Pinnochio one is the one people seem to like the most. I still have a week worth of sketching to do before I pick one. I love the idea of doing the cartoonish animail world as well since I have not done it before. But I’m still seriously considering you feedback as well.

Once I pick a concept, I’ll redraw the characters to stylize and exagerate more of their anatomy/features. So the sketch is only to get the concept accross, then I’ll work on developing the characters & color palettes.

I like your ideas, the octopus look is great hahah maybe you could try another kind of “suit”, play with something familiar to make it more hilarious or strange or…don´t know…:smiley:

I agree, the pattern on the octopus should be very obvious that he’s not doing a very good job a concealing himself, maybe stripes. Thanks for the feedback.

Matthew and Jose for your support and feedback. I’ve had to take a break from the concepts due to work, but, I’m coming back this weekend with a couple more concepts; perhaps revisit a couple of the ones already posted. Hopefully I will be able to pick one by this weekend; I can’t wait to start the final. Your feedback is very much needed and appreciated.
