straight lines and the right posture

#1

Hi,
yes i know to draw straight lines and os i have to do lot of practices.
I’m using a pen tablet…

I heared that people use thier wohle arm to draw, or so.
When I started training to draw straight lines and round circles I noticed that it’s better to draw the lines wehen i use my wohle arm instead of just my hand.

what’s the right posture for drawing?

should just my arm mouve or my wohle body?
-I’m not shure. I think it’s better if my body is always parallel to the tablet.
Is it better if my arm lays totaly on a table? I think so. Because at the moment my tablet i right at the border of the table. not so good…

just some basics tips for better control of my pencil.

thanks and sr of my mad english

You should draw with your entire arm for longer strokes, but it’s not really possible with fine details. But yes, you should find a place to rest your arm, if for no other reason than it is more comfortable and you’ll be less likely to injure yourself.
