I’m trying to get Jason Osipa’s Stop Staring 3rd. edition python scripts to work but I’m getting the following message:
The scripts are .pyc (compiled i believe) and put them in the scripts folder (\maya\2010-x64\scripts)…and put the shelf script in the shelves folder…I’ve tried Maya 2009,2010 x64…
I read the version of python you have is important when running a .pyc script…If so, how do I found out what version to use with that script? I tried in both PC and OSX environments too…same result…
Would greatly appreciate any help!
BTW otherwise, I happy with purchase the book is extremely helpful…
