stop facing particles intersecting

#1

hi
is it possible to stop plane facing particles from intersecting each other?
have a look at the attachment, i was wondering if there was a simple way to stop these harsh intersection lines (ignore the black and green crap at the bottom, thats not a problem)…

i’ve tried the keep apart thing in particle flow but it’s not working…
hope someone can help
cheers

usually the keep apart is doing its job. maybe ur core radii and fallofs need to be tweaked?

by tweeked do you mean made crazily high? No matter how high I make the numbers they still intersect. I think it’s because they are facing the camera, and when you do that the particles make a sort of dome around the camera as the move down… and i think I just answered my own question…

If i move the camera far away and then zoom in, the curvature of the “dome” that the particles make around the camera will be reduced, stopping the intersecting… I’ll give it a go.
