Stone pavement Help

Hi im trying to create floor like you can see on this picture.

Ive tried modeling a few stones and placing them randomly with array3d but it just dosent look that good.

So if you could please tell me what would be a good way to go about this i would appriciate it allot. thank you

Hey man,

You can try using a displacement map. Filter your texture map in Photoshop, or paint something in Zbrush. Set your displacement shader to adaptive or subpolygon, and you should be a nice result.

You can also try just modeling the rough outlines of your stones, and use a more localized displacement for your small details.
