Still:The Art Dusk

#1

This image was made entirely into maya 6.0 and rendered with mental ray. These two masks are the ones used back in the ancient greece by theatre performers. The concept about the image is the death of the traditional theatrical arts and traditional greek tradegy.

What an amazing work!!I like the concept a lot, the lights are great, they had a lot of drama to your image…are you insane?

#6

…well actually a lot of people told me that image is kinda disquieting.
thank you for the reply!! Ciao ciao Savinia:)

It’s a tragedy this hasn’t got more replies! (Sorry, couldn’t resist  )

Nice lighting and materials, am I right in thinking that you modelled the left mask and duplicated and pulled the points around for the second? Only the deformations around the mouth on the happy face look a little stretched in places and not as natural as the first…

#8

…i’m so down right now …i’ve modelled both masks seperetly…tho
thank you very much for your comment!!!:)
