would be nice with some constructive comments though

tjena mittbena!

annars mycket bra :]

Real nice textures!

Your soundhole is a disaster though!
I recently made a guitar model and found the best approach for the faceplate was splines (not booleans). Start out with a perfect circle , trace the body front profile and connect them up, extrude the frofile and you get a tight look.

Edges on these things are critical, thats part of their beauty.
Other things would be a topnut, machine head nuts look a little light, you could beef em up a bit. Scratch board could be reflective and in the lower pic the reflection on the body could be a bit more exciting.

Shaddows are beautifull!

Good one

wow how many hours did this take u?

I can only add to kanga’s comments a bit and get a bit of ‘use’ in it. the few years I did sound and guitar tech, I never met a brand spankin new guitar that didn’t have someone’s mark or smudge on it. that’s the nature of em. but the texturing rocks!

det är sant skinkbiten, ska kika på det och tack för kommentaren

kanga: yea that is true, however the hole itself is round I just added some black color in photoshop so therefore it doesn´t like round. I use nurbs for this and the hole is round. Will fix it!

rikaro: not many only made this quitar between a project needed a break but with say between 1-2 days and almost 1 day of rendering in different angles, finding good light and so on. That also includes the time for learning nurbs. My first try and I don´t think nurbs and texturing worked that well together.

padawan your right it looks too clean will see if I´m going to work more on it

thanks alot for all comments highly appreciate them!

Guitar looks great, what did you use for the textures of it? Use photoshop or what?
