I’ve made a sim in Houdini with an exported object from cinema (alembic file).
Now I’m trying to import the Houdini animation as a null, so I can put the original c4d file under it and follow the generated sim. I’m struggling a lot with getting that null into c4d, it’ s there but it doesn’t accurately follow the rotation.
So I was wondering if i could import the full animation (ignore the nulls) and stick the original c4d objetc to it. So basically aligning both objects on the first frame and then stick to the houdini sim. I did a quick test with constraints but this didn’t immediatle work… and I am wondering if it’s actually possible? The Objects have the exact same polygons so I think there should be a way to glue the two together?
