Stereoscopic

#1

Hi,

I really need a soultion for a big problem…

Is there anyway in which i can render out a steroscopic image from combustion, i have both the left and right footage, normally i woul use an external app, however in this situation i am unable to as the resoulion and and length of the scene are way to big… So, is there any way which this can be done out of combustion , it would involve interlacing both the left and the right footage togather… is there any scripts or plugins that could be used… Thanx in advanced guys any help would be appreciated…

Cheers
Dave

Is it anaglyphic stereo (the cyan/red glasses?)

If so you can combine the two footages by multiplying the red channel of one footage with the green and blue channel of the other footage.

Hi there,

I did this a few years back using interlaced stereoscopic - I used Premiere to combine the left and the right, but the principle is the same for Combustion, I guess. Basically in Photoshop I made a fullframe (720 * 576) frame that conisited of a line of 1 pixel on every other pixel - basically this will give you a filter that will remove everyother scan line. This is easy to do but hard for me to explain. I f you don’t follow I will happily dig out the tga file I used.
