Stereoscopic 3D maya output

#1

Hello,

I need to output a Stereoscopic 3D movie for use with a DLP ready 3D projector <LCD Xpand modelx102 Shutterglasses>

I will be using the stereoscopic player http://www.3dtv.at/Index_en.aspx

I know maya outputs left and right channels and after effects has a few plugins to set up stereo comps with red/green… but that wont work with the LCD glasses

Im not sure how to output the final piece to be used with the projector and glasses, and what input format to use with it? (interlaced right line first, left line first, side by side right first… ect ect)

???

Thank you

The Maya viewer can playback stereo images over the quad buffer with a quadro or firegl cards. If you want to playback rendered images then you will need to look for a different playback engine.

How is your stereo projector receiving images? Is it SDI, HDMI? How is your computer plugged into the monitor? Do you have any type of dedicated playback device hooked to the projector?
