#41

Still a mess in my head but well, i work anyway

#42

large compo or not, that is the question

#43

large :wip: large :wip: large :wip: large :wip:

#44

i like the large compo:) i won’t want to miss his left arm :stuck_out_tongue:

#45

LARGE! compo. You do not want to cover up the dynamic look of the image- right?

Keep going! :bounce:

#46

Here are some ambiance and colorimetric tests. I wanted to do a picture in green tones which are not familiar for me, a good challenge in fact.
A : Full green picture
B : Just some red rimlignts, neutral color on robot
C : red background
D : red robot
E and F : don’t matter with the upper part of the picture, it’s all about the bridge. I make it clearer than in the other picture. Green for E, Red for F

#47

D and C are my favorites, B is nice too. I wouldn’t stick with just one color.

#48

For me C is my favorite. I like the bridge in F as it really stands out.

#49

I like this. But I think the ship was also a great concept.Maybe something for the future.

#50

Im voting for C too :applause:

#51

That 's really cool.all things is perfect.looking forward for the final image.
Btw,D is great…

#52

It seems I 'm going to do a version more textured than I thought at first. Still in reflexion

#53

i love your robot. almost reminds me of a nightmare before Christmas… with robots!

#54

still working

#55

After a certain time of learning ice in xsi 7, I made the smoke comming from the top of the robot

#56

all is in the title. Do you prefer with the fog (red at bottom, white at middle) or without ?
If you’ve got other commentaries, no pb.
Oh and I’ll give up the smoke you’ve seen before because it wasn’t great in the picture

#57

hey dude! i like the mist more - very londonish and a bit more scary. can’t you use/show the bumpmapped eyebrows from zbrush or whatever, instead of the drawn on ones?! i think it’s a funny idea and would hate to see it go to waste. i don’t know your other work but i think you should go realistic or graphic - when i look at the image now it’s something inbetween…
good luck! n.

#58

it adds atmosphere. Your piece is unique! Looks like Tim Burton influence! Keep up the great work!

#59

rebelakemi : thanks for your comment. Appreciate.

Archibald : The eyebrows you see are the one from zbrush but the distance is so far that they lost their volume. moreover I have forced (maybe too much) the shader to make it them more visible. i thought of rework them more in 2d but maybe I will remade them in 3d if I’ve got time. I think you’re right about the “in between” realistic and graphic version. I think I’ve missed something on this picture that could have benn more stylish (but I don’t know how exactly). Now I know I will not go mre realistic than that and also my time is too short to remake many things more graphic (I still have many things to add or adjust on the picture). Anyway if you got quick idea of change to make it a little more graphic, I’m listening :D.

#60

For me that’s nearly finished.Justsome minor tweaking to do and mybe some modifications in regards of your comments
