Hi folks, late to the challenge again… i had to complete the Blending Life challenge first. I think i’ll bace my entry on Arachne from the Greek Mythology, now off to find my sketchbook.

Here’s th start of Arachnea’s abdomen, still got lots of things to add. Her web thread will come from a spool that is housed in the water tank.

I like your use of struts to build up the shape of the abdomen. Nice idea! Great to you started

Gunilla Thanks Gunny, i’ve got my head buried in how steam engins work atm so i’m not sure how far i’ll get, plus it’s the first time i’ve ever attempted any kind of hard surface modeling but i’m having fun learning new stuff.

Just a little update, a flywheel and some gogs and chain. Will do the main steam engine part next.
