Def not the right colors, but the concept is gonna be close to this. I guess. I’m picking something simpler because pipes and gears isn’t my favorie-either persephone and the hades tale or aphrodite. Probably Aphrodite. I want to paint mechanical cupid birds.

Venus all decked out in orange plastic and clashing blue highlights. Should’ve stuck with black and white.

I like the moody feel! I don’t think the colors are so bad as you say. Dark achromatic with touches of blue and orange is cool. I like it better that the black, white, and red version.

I’m keeping an eye on this thread. You can never go wrong the warm and cool color base. It’s all looking really great.

It looked kinda squished over, so the screen got expanded. I hate backgrounds. Going to watch Jasper Morello on youtube again to find inspiration.
I wonder exactly how much you can bend the myths-I guess, Aphrodite was created from testicles thrown into the sea, so, broken toys and…a frozen ocean?

Love the use of colors! Agree with Martin, the eyes hunt the viewers, very expressive!
