Latest Update: Work In Progress: Fall of the gods - landscape wip

hi this is my first time to join in cgchallenge. The theme sounds fun so i decided to join. Here is my concept/pre vis stage. The destruction of the mountain of the gods. Im stil trying to stitch the story behind this artwork. I was thinking its odin riding that gigantic steampunk thing at the back of the temples and destroying all the gods. The protagonist is heading to the great mountain on a zeppelin . Im still doing the details for both the zeppelin and the bot at the background. Ill update on my next post. I want to depict that moment of destruction with all the smoke , steams and particles around it. The composition might change along the way , I know its a bit tight on both sides.
good luck to me and everyone.
here’s the starting stages of the zeppelin. I still have to add a lot of details since it will be in the foreground.
i’m definitely gonna hang on to this one!
even looking at the renders … it’s like filming with cameras back in the old days … really eager to see the next updates! :bounce:
good luck mate! ![]()
Great model and I totally love the render style! That is awesome!
Did you use GI or is just fake GI?
Great first sketch, from composition, colors to the simple but cute design of the zeppelin

I like the zeppelin but how big is it supposed to be? The scratches are making it look small, almost like a one person personal vehicle.
Very nice, the zeppelin is really taking shape. I do agree about the scratches (and some of the other additions) making the scale seem much smaller than I think you intend.
