Ah ha! so this is your entry, its looking really rather nice.

Yep i agree with you on the focal point, her arm is under so much contrast it will have to be perfect. I would suggest a slight re-pose and then really looking up and getting the anatomy leading from her shoulder all the way through her arm to her hand and fingers spot on.

Her face looks great! Really nice work.

I love the color scheme and lighting. She looks like a Bouguereau maiden! The myth is obscure…never heard of it…eeuuu…she has to sleep with each of the dwarves in return…she must really like jewelry! Lucky dwarves…

Worked some on the left side of the picture today. Will work out the front dwarf tomorrow, he troubles me a bit.

It is said that one day in ancient times, the God of love, Freya, visited some dwarfs, skilled in the arts of craftsmanship. There she saw the most beautiful necklace ever created, it shined like the stars. Captivated by its magic she desired it with all her heart, and proposed the dwarfs to buy it.

But the dwarfs had all the wealth in the world and wouldn?t sell it. She had to promise them something more desirable, her love for one night. She agreed and stayed one night with each of the dwarfs.

From then on, it was said, no mortal man could resist her when she wore the necklace, named Brisingammen.

This painting is done entirely in photoshop.
