keraj37, thanks for the comment.
The wheels are not connected… they are part of the mechanism of the cable for segment inpulse

This is several kinds of awesome, I’m only sad you’re not in the video category, because I’d LOVE to see those tentacles moving in detail

#13

Yeah…like it a lot!! I have always loved the look of underwater steampunk, it’ll be good to see what you can bring to it!

Cheers

#14

hey there nice moddeling and and tentacle design

i guess i finally see it !

is the whole buildup in the rendered image with material just one of the suck on things!!?!(dont know the english name ^^) am i right?

i was looking at it a few times already and was thinking hmm where does that go in the concept :stuck_out_tongue:

i really like the gold material already and am looking forward to more

#15

Wow, very nice stuff. The sketch and designs are awesome.

#16

another update, this is a first segment of the tentacle

#17

Thanks guys.
salmonmoose, I would very much like to participate in the video category to see the tentacles too excited, I thought better not risk it because my computer is a simple desktop (Duo Core 2.8GHz + 1GB RAM + Radeon 9600), and I believe he did not support the animation processing and rendering.

oneandonlyDiscoStu, sorry man :frowning: , my English is very poor and do not get it right your reply

I’m still working on materials, this is more an update, is all procedural materials. I’m trying to create mud/seaweed fixed on metals

#18

the tentacles look really cool…
and they suite the steampunk style two thumbs up from me so far
