#2

hello nice avitar,
good luck

#3

Past hours of consideration I think my theme will be the legend of the battle between Goliath and young David. Goliath could be a really big monster warmachine, destroying the hole country. David trying to overthrow him with a steampunk actuate slingshot. I`am actual not sure about the point of view and the hole story. First quick sketch. Any suggestion !?

#4

In advance - sorry about my poorly english. Wish you all the best success. Lets rock!

#5

Ohh men - I spent so much time working the last month. But once again I´m doing progress. To get a good looking final image I will work my ass off till deadline.

#6

quick update …

#7

nice work philipp . your story is very nice .
I really like it and I hope to see your next update soon
good luck !

#8

christmas is over - back to steampunk !

#9

Philipp, thanks for the comments.

I think you could try moving the point of view closer to either of them: look over David’s shoulder (as in mine) or between Goliath’s legs. At the moment it is a bit static.

Good luck with this.

#10

Happy new year guys. I go nuts - deadline is so soon.

#11

My first try ever in a Sculpting Application. Its very intuitive to work. David is still naked - in the next hours i will change that and add some details.

#12

thats one raw cloth setup - I don?t know exatly yet, what david could be wearing. perhaps some riven military clothing. hmm…

the journey is the reward !

#13

next one

#14

Shit - I can`t upload anything !?

#15

Thats davids steampunk actuate slingshot.

#16

This is looking great, the pose reminds me of Bernini’s david. For the final composition though, I would look for a more dramatic angle so that we could see more of Goliath.

#17

Thanks Matthew - you are rigtht with the perpective. I`m not so sure - I will test some angels where david appears bigger. before that I will eventually finish david. actual my guideline for the basic pose was bernini’s david.

#18

David is almost ready. By tomorrow guys - I go to sleep.

#19

some details …

#20

hmm - thats difficult. here are some different kind of views. Ive tried to put david closer in the foreground. Perhaps I schould rotate goliaths legs? I could use some advice! what do you think guys?
