Steampunk Myths and Legends Entry: Phil Gosch
Yeah, this is going to be great fun!
And the topic is perfect, since I was thinking about doing something similar for a while now.
I’ll go for something dragon/wyvern-like, but can’t really tell yet.
I’ve so many approaches, but no real idea…
I’ll go for something phoenix-ish, a steampunk dragon/bird arising from wreck parts (eg broken gears, bolts, etc.). This will be great fun, especially because I graduated at a school for mechanical engineering.
I’ll start by posting the color sheme I have in mind. I’m satisfied with the general composition, I’ll tweak it when the modeling is finished.
The desing of the dragon(I’ll call it dragon from now on although it’s a inbetween of a bird and dragon) is nearly finished too, there are pencil sketches of it, which I still have to scan and post. First I wanted the wings to be in a complementary color to the body, but later I decided on an analogous color sheme.
Can’t wait to start modeling.
