You’ve done great job with the modeling…I like the idea of Baba Yaga - the Slavic folclore is so colorific. I decided to use a character from there too - it’s a samodiva that tries to protect her wood from felling. I’m glad that you are inspired by such an idea… wish you luck and i’ll keep an eye on your work - you’ve done good work so far.

Thanks a lot guys for all your comments, I eventually find some time this week-end to work again on the scene. I really hope i will be able to complete the image on time but it’s gonna be hard. I wish i will be able to make a lot of progress during the Xmas Holiday but i’m going to go back in Belgium for the holiday. ( Not easy to be far away from friends and familly ).
Anyway i still work on it, no question about it
U have amazing modeling and texturing skills and your work shows that.
I like all those details and skin wrinkles u added to the face and its really enjoying to see how this evolves.
Keep it up Nicolas. ![]()

Ha, I was expecting an awesome character based on your portfolio
that really rocks dude, can’t wait to see it all textured!
I opened up your thread and without even looking at any text that you’ve posted, i say your latest model and said to myself, “Oh, that’s obviously Baba Yaga!” So you’re obviously headed in the right direction! Really nice work - scary, even!
