Hey Nicolas !
Great start for you, too.
can’t wait to see more on this

Cheers

#42

Looking great so far - beautiful lines in that design. This will be interesting to follow!

#43

Really interesting idea, and i like the way you started the modeling, very clean.

#44

Cool idea. This is one of the most original concepts I’ve seen. Good luck, I’ll follow your process.

#45

I like it, it’s very original. And perfect steampunk.

#46

I’m so glad to have you here Nick. First time you and I set on the same stage running for the price and pride. I am so excited. Let the best win (hand shake).

#47

Lemog, Elendil_le_Grand, scootermaya, AndreiSzasz , Gunilla, Orchidaceae : thanks a lot guys.

RicoD, M477: glad you like the idea, i’ll do my best to make it looks good.

SweD : thanks man, hard surafce modeling is quite unusual for me, but finaaly i really enjoy it  lol’

Ramitxon : thanks alot man, that give me the extra boost needed

Jack Zhang: Lol Jack, you know there are so much great artists in the challenge both in 2d and 3d, that I’m sure i’m not the guy to compete with , really

#48

Some more progress on the steam-mortar …

#49

Now it’s really nice. It’s clean and very … steampunk. So it’s good

#50

Too much top… congrats… I’m fan of your wings… well designed

what is the kind of lenses at the base of these wings… lamps ?

#51

Hey Collins, good looking WIP going on here, wanna post Wireframe renders?, very curious =)

#52

YYYEEEAAH!!! steampuk baba jaga rulezz!!! oh gosh!
great looking stuff…keep it up.

#53

love your detail work, that’s an area I need improvement, or discipline would be more accurate, sometimes I just lack the patience. Keep it up!

#54

just :applause:

it turns really great.
top notch detailled, and the wings works great with the global.

Hard surface unsual for you ? ahah…let me laugh ^^

#55

goddamn I’m a slacker - looking promising Nick!

#56

show us more, Nick!

#57

I think you should make the wings on that carriage thingy bigger. Like really massive! anyways, I really like the simplicity and smoothness to your forms. Good Job!

#58

Looks cool so far, nice details and well done. So Nic no way back and no time to stop. After all hard surface is not so tuff, just takes patience.

#59

still working on the steam mortar…

#60

Elendil_le_Grand: Thanks nico.

Lemog: Nop that’s not supposed to be lamps, i’m still searching a design for the articulation of the wings.

Mellbrx: thank you, will post a wireframe next time.

OZ: thank you

SNoWs: your entry is really clean and accurate, and has much more details then mine  keep up the great work.

SweD: thank you Cyril, hard surface is really unsually to me, i did almost exclusively organic models until this entry.
This is said i know that i have to use as much as splines and nurbs surface instead of polygons and that what i try to do.

Intervain: thanks magada, time for you to post an update

JackZhang: thank you jack

Brownie3703: thank you for your comment , i updated the wings and make them bigger. it works better indeed.

aliasfx: merci Alex
