Hi all I’m finally in the challenge ive been fleshing out this idea for a long time even. before this challenge to some extent, this event totally gave me the push to do it. Here is the first image

Good concept :slight_smile: But it could be more steampunk to me. I like very much the idea of captain’s hook.

here is Smee Hook’s engineer on the airship responsible for building and designing every thing steampunk about this gang of pirates ,including the airship the eyepatches, peg legs and even The captains new hand. Though smee may be good at this …he will never be ad good as the fairies of neverland, because of there size`they a pretty good at minaturizing the technology.

here is pan kinda feminine here …i might leave it or change it but hey pans been played by women

i referenced a a book i have illustrated by greg hildebrant as a guide for some of these faces …there similar but not exact copies, hope thats not a problem.

I personally feel Greg found the perfect models to fit the characters.

I’'ll be trying to paint this in a 19th century oil painter style …the faces and costumes will probably change more classical realism, I just had to put out these concepts before it was to late.

The one with Captain Hook is really cool. But im not trying to offend you or nothing but here an “idea”. What if you had Captain Hook (the one in the bottom right hand corner) holding Tinkerbell in his hook. At least then you have a cool light source and you can do that thing you do when it comes to lighting. Just a thought.

Like the concept just think instead of real boot on Hook u should show the steam powered leg. Does pan fly by steam of by magic in ur story?

hi I’m back with nothing…well not much, I’m now getting to a concept sketch with twelve days left …that sucks … and I doubt I might finish but here goes.

There is gonna be the usual sword fight but in a but not on the ship …but rather inside neverland where i will attempt to do a mechanical forest.

the composition sucks but i got something better in mind .

line art …finally , i had to learn so many new thing just for this lame image …I will be adding a few more distant characters and forest elements …I just got tired of drawing.
