Hi Guys!
Im strugling with the story. Im going with Sisyphus, but I cant move one until I figure out the story behind the trailer, and I would like to give trailer certain weight and backbone with good story behind it.
Anyway, I think I abandoned early concept of Sis bulding his own machine.
I was thinking about it for some time, and it wouldn’t be to realistic and believable that a barely dressed guy thrown to hell starts building complex machine out of practicaly nothing.
So, I dug deeper in the myth of Sisyphus and found out some interesting details.
Since there are numerous interpretations and believes around this myth, I picked parts I thought could be crucial for my entry and what would be most suitable for the steampunk theme.
Sisyphus was thrown to hell, Tartarus(has numerous interpretations) the deepest pit of the underworld to pay for his sins, and the fact that he tricked goads two times.
The punishment was to push the stone up the steep hill, and just before the top, it would roll down and he would have to repeat it to eternety.
Also, other thing I found out, is that Titans were dethroned in war with goads and inprisoned in Tartarus so they cannot escape.
So this gave me the ide what to do next.
This would be the plot in rough of what I want to do:

BEING EXPLAINED WHAT IS THE PUNISHMENT, AND WHAT HAPPENS IF HE DOESNT DO IT, AND WHAT IF HE SUCCEED IN IT.[/b]

[b]HE TRIES TO ROLL BIG CHUNK OF ROCK, BUT IT IS POINTLESS, THE STONE IS TO HEAVY AND WONT NUDGE
DEPRESSED, KNOWING HIS FAITH HE STARTS WALKING UP THE HILL TO THROW HIMSELF DOWN THE SHARP ROCKS TO END HIS MISERY(NOT GONNA HAPPEN IN HELL)
ON THE WAY UP THE HILL, HE FINDS A CRACK IN THE STONE
HE ENTERS THE CRACK, ONLY TO FIND HUGE AND HIGH HALLWAY TUNNEL WITH PILLARS AND TWELVE BIG GALLERYS IN THE WALLS, SIX ON EACH SIDE
IN EACH OF THE TWELVE GALLERYS RESTED ONE TITAN
HE MANAGES TO AWAKE ONE OF THEESE GIANTS, WHO IN RETURN IS IN HIS DEBT FOR AS LONG AS HE IS LIVE.
AND THE REST IS GOING UNDER THE TITLE, SISYPHUS GREAT ESCAPE.
HOW HE ESCAPED FROM HELL, FOUGHT HADES, AND ALL OTHER BAD THINGS IN TARTARUS, TO HIS LIFE, FOR THE THIRD TIME.
[/b]Now, I have to find a way how to bring this story into a 30 seconds trailer and to keep it clean and understandable. I think that would be most challenging thing for me to do.
