ok. so here it goes! at first, i really didn’t know what kinda mythology i wanted to go for. so the first image is just a random steampunk robots that i blurred it out with photoshop custom brushes. and as i kept working on it, i’ve thought about collaborating japanese culture with steampunk. i’m still not 100% sure, but i think i will go with japanese “yokai,” with is japanese ghosts and demons. so the second image concentrates more on a yokai called Oni. Oni is sort of like a japanese demon that lives in hell and punish people for their sins.

ok, so hope you enjoy. hopefully, i can find out what i really want to go for.

so my oni would be more like a human torturing robot. it gains fuel by grinding human body and squeezing out the blood. i guess that would be something i’m wanting to go for. here r the thumbs

here’s the line work for my challenge. next step, prob add values and set it into an environment.

here’s an image with value and a bit of color.
i’m going to change the design a bit cuz it’s not steampunk enough.
