Well, I was very impressed by that myth, the moment when Goddess Athena goes down in Tartarus to take her weapons from the Cyclopes. It?s a strange myth, presenting both beginnings of heaven as ?man? and earth as ?woman? but with changed roles? This time a female Athena is descending from heaven Olympus witch is a symbol of the air and light, of the moving spirit to the womb of the earth, where are living slow moving forces of the earth nature, often presented as woman. I will work to present that point of view in my drawing.

This painting present the Greek myth about the goddess Athena descending in the “Tartarus” to take her weapons. This weapons were manufactured by the Cyclops that are symbols of the Earth underground forces. Cyclops were very gifted in work with metals and that’s why they did produce the weapons for Athena and Zeus.
