It was either steampunked Vampire lady or chubby baby faeries at flight school. I think I’m going with the faeries tho… bright pretty steampunkness!.. <squeals>

Nice references to start with, I’m making also a fairy steampunk theme, but you have my permission to make it about that too (just joking you have to pay a fee :P)

balfs21: My head is still trying to wrap around the mechanics of steam powered wings so I can figure out how to actually scribble it! :expressionless: damn the importance of these logical goodies! :stuck_out_tongue:

So After some doodling, the Vampire screamed to be scribbled… so I think I’ve changed my mind and will be sticking with her.

Basically she bites her victims and siphons off their steam to keep herself alive and well. :smiley:

The robot is really just a rough place holder. I’ll be working more on his design.

Fleshing her out a bit to get a better idea of her form etc etc. I will be adding some pipes and metals and goodies to her soon :slight_smile:

Hey Amanda,

Nice concept :slight_smile: Think that you better work all your image on gray values, included the background. In that way is much easier to manage your contrasts, lighting, volume and deep, only a comment. Good luck!

Thought I would comment here in hopes that you could do the same in my thread. :rolleyes: It’s kinda empty… :shrug:

Anyway, it’s looking good. I think flesh out the rest of the image before adding details. Looking at it now again, the robot on the floor needs a bit more added to it for one to establish it’s “dead” and lying on the floor at her feet.

Okay… this is where I start needing help with her. Any anatomy errors… scream. I’m thinking something is wrong with her knee… but can’t place it.

Her face is still quite rough, but her hair is all out and confusing me a tad.

I’ll work on bringing the rest of the pic to her level of detail next.

Ah! this is a lot clearer. Looking good so far, and as far as the proportions and anatomy of her legs, I think they look fine. The pose is excellent.

The Big version I think, has that touch of innocence… its just a game, playful… The smaller option almost seems a bit more “sexual” to me… lol… my hubby gave me a funny look when I told him this… I guess it makes it look more serious and “grown-up.”

I like the playful air of the first one, but people have expressed confusion about how her limbs are going and I started getting a bit worried that I could only see it cause I drewed it!

Waaa… I’m not sure what I’m doing with her yet… I know her right leg is a bit skwonky still… and the way she’s sitting isn’t exactly the easiest thing for a normal(non-supple) human to pull off… but she’s a vampire… and I don’t think it looks so unnatural that its bad…

Anyway, tell me what you think.

Thanks, I’ve updated the most recent stuff here now. I’m glad you think the anatomy and pose is good. I’m still not sure why there is any confusion about how she is sitting. Lol… maybe its just everyone saying things differently and interpreting each other wrong?

Waaah!! Please help me fix her face… she looks all distant and and and… I’m trying to make her look cute and playful yet show her fangs… fang showing results in such evil looks… oh the conundrums!
