#6

Okay so I graduated last week and finally have time to work on this so I hope to be doing more this week!

#7

Just thinking about how my little Loch Ness pet will work. I kinda want him to be fighting a steam boat or something. haha.

#8

Okay, so i think I like this composition. Not sure what to do with color yet. We shall see. Hope you like.

#9

Not sure how I am gonna color and light this yet. just playing around.

Looks cool, Aaron! Loch Ness Monster is a great idea. I’m thinking it would be nice to have a strong moonlight shining from behind him, maybe casting a long shadow on the ground. Then there could be a weaker, warmer from his chest lantern (and perhaps his eyes?). Also it would be nice to have a figure or something standing before him (terrified!). On the second last entry you have some curved mountains in the back, those would be nice to keep, to reinforce the curved shape of his neck and provide depth.

Anyway, just some thoughts. It looks good, keep it up!

Thanks Mats,

I think you’re right about the cool light from behind. I want the image to seem kinda funny so I a still trying to think of somthing I can do with the figure in the foreground. Thank you for the helpful input!

#12

I agree with Mats. moonlight in the background with the blue reflecting off the water behind him. Great character design and concept. Keep up the good work!

#13

Sounds like a plan. Mats and yours are my favorite two entries, so it feels good to get advice from both of you! Sweet! Thanks!

#14

I changed the head because it was to small. I have an idea for the background and a figure should fit well underneath his head.

#15

Ummm. i am not sure how to paint the background yet. I havent decided what will look nice. Just an update I guess…

#16

Its looking pretty good!!! WOO!! I can’t wait to see more updates! Keep up the good work!
