Hi there! Heres another recent painting I made. I reworked this from a much cruder earlier version…Spent quite a bit of time trying to get the light right…Some perspective issues with the hearts overall shape but that doesnt bother me. I think there are still some areas to refine and I could go on forever…I know one suggestion will inevitably be adding some inhabitants to this… Which Im considering…Anyways…start with the comments! Please!

One big issue I see is that all your surfaces look too similar, and when you try to differentiate them from each other, they do not look convincing. You need to consult proper references to make sure the illusion of different surface types are convincing.

HEY! oh it’s different then mine.
I would say that if your looking for more realism you would need to follow that Lunatique’s advice;)) I think it has a nice stylized look to it. My only comment is some of your ellipses look a little more off then others.

Cool idea! 
I like it very much.
Perhaps you could polish it some more, maybe use the pen and select tools to get sharp and smooth curves and edges.
