Statistics: how to determine estimated profits for a movie

Does anyone has resources to get statistics about the profits of a movie distribution, cinemas/online/tv. And how does a company could estimate revenues from distribution?

actually, they do at times mention the marketing cost,

which can be over 30% of the budget !

Mostly they don’t because of Hollywood accounting, where some people have contracts that involve receiving a percentage of net profits and so they’ll cook the books so that it seems like the project didn’t make any money once they subtract their costs. They try to keep the info secret so that people can’t dispute it.
