So I need to create a sss map for a character. I’ve created uvs in UVLayout Pro instead of in Maya (a ton easier) though when u save out an obj file in UVLayout it uses multiple boxes/boundary squares in the UV PNG file. So when loaded into Mudbox and saved as a texture it renders out multiple texture not just one, of different parts of the UV. So when I go into maya and try create my “MISS_fast_skin” (the SSS material) I can’t load in my textures into a single epidermal or subdermal slot within the SSS material.
