spline ik twist

hey, i’ve created a stretchy spine using spline ik but i don’t know how to get it to twist. At the moment it is a curve with nulls path constrained to it and bones position constrained between these nulls. i’ve been following some maya tutorials and it seems easy in maya but i can’t locate the xsi equivalent.
