I have debris falling onto the ground; it has a spin operator on it. Even when it collides with the floor it keeps on spin and it lasts forever. can someone tell me how to stop the spinning, on collision after a few seconds. i know i need particle age in Tp but cant think of any in Pf.

You can send the particles to a new event (you can also specifiy how many bounces are allowed before, or how much time passed after the first collision) and kill the spin there.

thanks for the reply. so in the first event i am using ‘send out’ event…and in the second event i am using collision event…and there i can specify number of bounces and times.? although i just tried but couldnt get results…

You can wire the Collision Test’s Output to a new event. There you add a new Spin Operator and set the spin to 0.
