a quick test of the new (my first ever) graphics tablet this was drawn first with pencil and coloure in with photoshop, ill probably get back to it and finish it some other time but comments are welcome

Man… you guys, this is the coolest thread I’ve encountered in my puny life! Hope it never dies, so here are some oldies of mine.

Most of them created when exploring ps and illustrator. Ship is a real quicky, goal was to made it look like authentic painting. Rest r just mindwanderers. average time a piece is 40 mins think, yeah I’m slow :wink:

These are not all that but this thing inspired me so I’m painting as I write, there are lots of great artists in here btw :eek: And yeah nice one william, 30min wiehoo, would’ve figured it to be an paintbrush job :thumbsup:

yah i’ve also gotten one recently and its taking time to find my orientation, im using newgrounds to get my orientation back though. Just go and play the shoot em up games and youll slowly get the hang of it. GL

Hi all, back again, guess a bit enthousiastic since I’m new here :wink:

Anyways can you guys help me out, I really need some good tips on colouring sketches in with ps7.0 (except from using a tablet :annoyed: )

I mean I made this sketch in 10min, colouring took me 35 min, and I think I still like the sketch more :shrug: What ya think?

you should add some smooth shadows to it, I think you could make this ahve a great 3d look, make the shadows nice and all round, sky background or something would make it even more attractive
