Thanks Kheemo. Chrome’s pretty easy to paint, you just have to think of it as a non-planar mirror.

OK i just bought the Art of finding nemo… REally good book and was inspired to start a little project. Anyways this is just a test. ( no the project isnt about a fish ) The test isnt original artwork either its based on a color composition in the book though its not EXACTLY the same. Its based on something Ralph Eggleston did which can be found on page 157. The test was to test some brushes and trying to get a similar effect. I think im getting there.
Expect to see more of these ( this time orginal work ). Im doing this in efforts of getting better at colour and lighting .

Hey, wow, this thread inspired me so much that I decide to post my VERY first 2D art here in cgtalk… the professional one. :wink:

I have been doing 2D and 3D arts for a while… it’s available on my website, so come over and visit. :slight_smile:

It’s 30 minutes sketch… not the best, but hey, that’s my first speedy digital painting :slight_smile: (I have done some speedy sketching with my hands, but not with the computer hehehe).
