Looking very very nice people.

arnocob Think you could save and show some intermediate steps sometime ? I love how you get so much texture in there somehow. I see a whole world of small details in what looks like loose transparent strokes. Plz post some work in progress pics

Spex84 Very filmic mood

Here is my leatest 30 minute painting … still getting back so very loose lines :frowning:

#6944

omg arconob keep it up! such a pleasure to view your art

#6945

Here is another one from me… 1½ hour in painter

#6946

Spex84, nice one!
Revos, thanx!
Swoop, thanx too. On the last one, perhaps could you enlarge a bit the canvas on the right?and also make the right part of the bridge thicker. The windows’s light could be more various…this’s just my opinion…

Eat, paint, eat paint…my sunday’s planning!
3 hours, ps

#6947

Sounds like you had a nice day  Cool pic btw. Your environments are getting better and better.

SamsonsReaper, koshime: Awwwesome!

Painter, easily more than 2 hours

#6948

Updated my spooky castle. Would guess my totalt time is now 2-2½ hours … done  Dont want to keep working on it anymore

#6949

1 1/2 hours, acrylic on canvas.

#6950

very nice… reminds me of sunset at some beautifull holliday resort

#6951

Thanks, I had a chance to do another one today. Also done with acrylics on a panoramic canvas. 2 hr.

#6952

Also very nice… a bit empty … could have used something as a payoff ;)q

#6953

#6955

Terro, nice acrylics! so, you are on traditional mediums these days? cool!
Goro, I am always impressed by your use of colors (mixed with good designs of course)
I am sure that you begin directly with colors, without a grey values study, right? that’s what is so amazing for me!
bye

#6956

Thanks Arnocob, I’m actually still all digital, but I wanted to do something I can hang on a wall or give to someone , thus the experiments with traditional acrylics, lol.

As far as digital work goes, I’m still studying environments. I’m still way behind you, but things are coming to me faster and faster. Here’s a WIP of a recent one from Koshimes workshop thread.

Goro: The use of colors in that piece is amazing man.

#6957

Terro, great improvment on this one!
I think Koshime’s thread is a good workshop for you, but you 've got already strong bases and feelings about enviros, though.

45 min, PS

art : thank you, nice image but i think some strong high contrasty values would improve it.

here is santa having some problems

#6959

SR: why the heck does santa have what I can only imagine is a bunny-tail on his rather prominent plumber’s crack? You did say he had problems, lol.

#6960

that i did, its not really a bunny tail, more like his other hand trying to hold up his pants hehe
