Speed Painting - Study

#1

I have posted these speed paints in “Speed paints” thread but i got just 2 C&C.
I decided to show them again in “my thread” because i just started to paint and i hope you’ll leave me any C&C because i would really like to improve myself.

    1. SP: i have used reference for hangar (perspective), robot was inspired from some other artist (lp)

    2. SP: no reference, just one inspiration image

    3. SP: i used reference for color

    4. SP: no reference

    5. SP: inspiration image

    6. SP: used reference

Firstly i thought using reference is noobish so i tried to brush from my head which wasn't good as you can see.
But then i read Goro's comment on some other artist's Speed paint: [http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=31&t=194845&page=1&pp=15](http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=31&t=194845&page=1&pp=15)
so i decided that i'll use references for first 20, 30 or 50 Speed paints. I allready use reference for 6. SP but i wasn't C/P or using color picup tool.

I realise that there is A LOT to improve and these speed paints are just some noobish practise.

I think i detail too much and don’t focus on perspective, light and shadows.

Sorry for my English.

Hi!

Great stuff!

Edge control is one of the things to work at.
Sometimes your edges are too sharp which make you have a bit of a copy pasted look here and there. It’s not much though, just nitpicking on that really, but I think if you would push it

The last piece could have benefit from a stronger aeral perspective, perhaps add some fog in the background to break up the horizon? Experiment!

Great sb already!

Tiger looks great, try depth of field by bluring the back of the tiger. helicopter overall looks great maybe back blades are out of perspective. House on a water looks better now with the fog but it feels like it’s rainy in there try it out.
