could someone explain how I`m fit a specular map in v-ray for maya
eg VRay mtl standar

  • control
    -control by texture

par exemple le VRay mtl standar

However you can uncheck the “Lock highlight and reflection glossiness”, and maybe try mapping the spec into the “Hilight glossiness” (I haven’t tried this but that might give you the desired result).

Just remember doing so will break the energy conservation on your shader.[/i]
