Soft and Hard edges?...maybe shadows too.

Hello,

I was wondering can someone please take the time to explain soft and hard edges in the context of drawing please.

Also can someone please explain the different types of shadows i.e cast…

Take a look in the sticky thread–there are TONS of stuff in there, and many of them will explain all this to you–some of the best learning material available out there.
