I’ve seen the videos, and it looks great. I’m impressed by the detail and effort they have put into making a nice UI, and the dynamic features of it seems so cool.
As a graphic design student I could never afford it at it’s current price. Hopefully they will have an awesome student discount. hehe 
But until then I’ll stick to wings3d for modelling…

Modo seems to have all the added features that I would have liked to see in Lightwave. But at the price I’m much more inclined to get XSI for $495. Modo is a great improvement over LW’s modeller but LW’s modeller is still a good one while XSI gives me a whole new set of tools at a lower cost.
