Slowing down framerate of PNG sequence in AE

#1

I just finished an animated cartoon I did in Flash and imported PNG sequence into After Effects.

Somehow all renders from AE are on hyper-speed and I´ve tried bringing fps to 12 frame in Composition Settings but that doesn´t work.

Tried to slowing down the fps in Output Module but doesn´t work either

Any suggestions?

Right-click the PNG sequence in the project window, choose Interpret Footage–>Main and set the correct frame rate there. Then match your comp settings to this.

If you want to slow it further then right-click the layer on the timeline and choose Time–>Time Stretch and enter a value >100. You may also want to turn on Frame Blending to get a smoother result.

rawshark is correct. Here’s some more information about setting frame rates.
