Hi everybody.
Slave assasin is a 3 hours speedpaint, coloured in PS, drawing by 2b pencil…

But some background would be nice, spimple gradient or someth.

Don’t depict anatomy as if the person’s a cadaver. This is one of the dangers of learning from anatomy books instead of observing real people. You need to study how people really look when there’s a layer of skin and fat over the muscles.

Presentation of the image needs a lot of work too. You are presenting a piece of artwork–a whole image, not just a figure on a blank background. The more you can do to provide a compelling premise/narrative, the better your presentation will be.

Exactly, I myself just recently learned that though I’ve aced 4 semesters of human anatomy and dissection in the past, it’s done diddlysquat for my artwork. Yes maybe helped with texture painting skins for 3d models made by others but otherwise for my art? Absolutely nothing without observing real live people posing.
