Click the link to see my first test drive of After Effects. It’s a before and after of a simple sky replacement.
This footage was taken near my home in Apache Junction, Arizona. The mountains are the Superstition Mountains. I’m very pleased with the result seeing as my video camera is a piece of junk. This video basically called for a simple color key of the sky, a 2d motion track, and a little bit of masking to keep the ground from disappearing. There are a few tiny artifacts left over but I didn’t get around to fixing them yet.
