Watercolor on paper:

ZhuZhu >>> you really are in a different class to us “humans”…
That last monochrome portrait profile is beautiful, like you sculpted her out of the paper and didn’t paint it at all…

zhuzhu - fantastic work…just amazing! Everything is so vivid and fresh, I’m such a fan of this style…and yes, Craig Mullins was also one of my inspirations to experiment with ‘rough’, almost subconscious textural painting…it’s such a rewarding technique.
Favourites on your thread so far are the Zorn Martha Dana, and of course all your watercolours. It’s impossible to tell whether these are digital or not!

absolutely wonderful zhuzhu.
I really like the almost impressionistic brushwork…
I would love to see more of how you apply the paint (or pixels in this case), It appears as a very “direct painting”/Alla prima approge , do you just carefully pick you colors and value and scruff it down with an opaque brush or are there glaces involved or mixing on the canvas?
take care
Queensoul,SpiritDreamer: thanks~!
Corvax:thank you, do you mean how i pick colors? i always used [Colors] panel, and set HSB dispaly mode. as you said, my style is [direct painting],start with simple shape, then getting more and more.
