I’ve got problems with perspektive, it would be nice if i also got some help with the anatomy :). Oh, and with the colours since i draw traditional style.

xX_eXiGe_Xx,
Hey there, there’s no real ‘quick fix’ for understanding anatomy - mainly it’s about consistent practice, and just plugging away at drawing and painting the figure. I would encourage you to start up a Sketchbook here in the Sketchbook area, which is a good way to document your progress as you learn more about drawing the figure.
Oh! I think i’ll do that Rebeccak, and i really like those awsome anatomy pictures you did :D!
xX_eXiGe_Xx,
Thank you!
I am happy to move and rename this thread for you to the Sketchbook section if you wish.
Thanks alot!
I’ve been working on the head a little bit, but i think i’ll soon colour him, because i want to impress a girl at 29 mars by doing very romantic pictures, lol. I’ve got a bad taste in colouring skin, so i hope i will be able to get a good skin tone before the 29.
Hi!
Colour is not easy, especially not skintones.
Why not try it in greyscale first?
A good greyscale study is worth a lot
But have’nt I already created greyscales in my previews post?? if not, then what is a grayscale?
xX_eXiGe_Xx,
NR43 is actually right, refining a grayscale image to a high level is what I would recommend as well. :) Check out some of the shading exercises done by previous artists [here](http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=198&t=349444) - they're a good example of a degree of finish to aim for in your images. Learning to draw / paint is as much about refining one's vision and learning to see as it is about actually putting paintbrush or pencil to page. I actually recommend trying the Grayscale / Skull Shading Tutorial linked [here](http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=200&t=403198) and you may even wish to start with [this](http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?p=4281627#post4281627) tutorial to get a solid grounding in values.
Don't worry, you're not the first person on whom I've pushed these exercises. ;) They're really designed to enable you to refine your level of finish at the grayscale level, since what most people starting out aim for first is a color image, without a solid understanding of values or that values, far more than color, define how an image reads.
Take a look at this person’s thread, he has done both the apple and skull shading tutorial. NR43 himself has done some lovely grayscale work, which I think is why he’s gently encouraging you to push your work too.
This thread talks about how to go from grayscale to color.
Hope this helps. :)
Thanks for giving me tips. I think that i’ll attened some klasses on drawing. I hope it’ll be so that I’ll learn to colour and create greyscale images better :). And don’t worry about the colouring, the girl i like won’t be at one course, neither at the other where i want to fully learn how to colour. Sence I’ve noticed that it’s, really…hard, to do all of it myself.
